Dagenham and Redbridge vs Tranmere Rovers – Man of the Match

By Peter Tscherewik

Tranmere registered their second consecutive away win on Saturday, beating Dagenham and Redbridge 4-0 at the Chigwell Construction Stadium.

After the final whistle we asked you to vote for your man of the match out of James Norwood, Connor Jennings, Steve McNulty and Andy Cook.

We can now reveal that your man of the match is none other than Norwood!

The 27-year old notched up 43% of the vote after scoring twice for the Super Whites. Cook was his closest contender, with 40% himself after bagging a brace of his own.

Norwood was key for Tranmere going forwards as he linked up with Cook in front of goal and worked his socks off throughout the 90 minutes.

His first goal was a well taken chipped finish over Mark Cousins (technically a one-on-one!), while the second was a flicked effort past the Dagenham goalkeeper.

Nors is now only two behind Cook for goals in this 2017-18, with 16 to his name.
