Tranmere Rovers have bolstered their midfield with the signing of Drissa Traore from League Two side Forest Green Rovers, per the player’s Twitter account.
Traore, 25, departs Forest Green after making 50 appearances since joining the side in 2016.
Rovers have acted quickly after the Ivorian had his contract terminated by mutual consent on February 26.
The midfielder’s previous clubs also include Swindon Town, Notts County and Le Havre, where he rose through the academy ranks and played five times for the first team.
Traore will be re-united with former team-mate Manny Monthe, who joined Rovers on loan just last week, also from Forest Green.
