Woking vs Tranmere – Man of the Match

By Josh Roberts

Tranmere pushed themselves back into contention for promotion and into the top five after a hard fought victory over relegation threatened Woking on Saturday.

After the match we asked you, the Super White Army, to vote who you thought was man of the match between Andy Cook, Richie Sutton and Rhys Taylor, with Adam Buxton getting a couple of deserved mentions.

Well we can revealed that man of the match was Andy Cook!

The big no.9 finished with 35% of the vote and rightly so.

He popped up with the all important goal that secured the three points away from home for the first league win of 2018.

He might have been sent off for what many would deem a soft red card that put all Rovers fans on edge for the last 10 minutes, but when it counted, Cook pulled a goal out of his famous magic hat!
