Tranmere drawn against Woking/Bury Away should they advance against Peterborough

Tranmere Rovers have been drawn against either Woking or Bury away from home should they advance into the next second qualifying round of the FA Cup.

The Super Whites were pulled out as ball no.7 in the first selection of fixtures with the draw televised live on BBC One last night.

The Rovers have to first overcome League One Peterborough at Prenton Park on Wednesday 15th November before thinking about the next round however.

Woking and Bury were unable to settle their differences when they clashed on Sunday with the two sides match Tranmere’s result with a 1-1 draw.

The possible opponents will once again go head-to-head in a replay on Tuesday 14th November at the Energy Check Stadium.

All fixtures of the second round of the FA Cup will be played between the first and fourth of December.

However, why not relive one of the club’s classic FA Cup encounters as they defeated Everton at Goodison 3-1 all the way back in 2001.
